National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) – requirements definition for an electronic market
Mark Reece

Mark Reece led the requirements definition for an electronic market at the American Stock Exchange to replace the existing floor-based market, supporting the trading of equities, options, futures and exchange traded funds.

The project included business requirements specification, analysis of the existing market (both from a business and technical perspective), specification of a suitable business model, running an RFI process to identify suitable vendors and finally developing a migration approach. Mark was also involved in the NASDAQ Japan project.
